We noticed the sendmail quit logging on 1/2/2002 on all of our servers.
Is there a new location for the log or does it log anymore?

You have sendmail running as a daemon on a cpanel server? How/why ?
    R U sure this information isn\'t found in /var/log/exim_mainlog
    and
    /var/log/exim_rejectlog ?

/usr/sbin/sendmail (and related locations)... *should* be symlinked to the exim binary. If it is a cpanel machine.

At least that\'s what the product prefers as far as I know.

Yes, Up until the 2nd all calls to sendmail from cgi scripts were logged to /var/log/sendmail.log
    Example:

    usr/bin/perl) CWD /home/cpalsne/public_html/cgi-bin CMDLINE perl 1/ 1/2002 22:10:16 sendmail[4521]: called by pid 4520 uid 99

I tracked down most spammers with this log. There were over 1000 just like that example all about 1-2 seconds apart. That guy was running that \'lstmrge.cgi\' script.
