    In non-WHM|cPanel environments, I have always added:

    php_admin_value sendmail_path "/usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i -f users_email@theirdomain.tld"

    into the virtualhost directives of httpd.conf for every host.

    This lets any bounce got to the user rather than me .. I am nobody :)

    Where would be the best place to add this to my configuration, preferably automagicly.

    I do not wish it to be accessible by the user in cpanel and do not want it overwritten with cpanel updates.

    Update

    The place to make this mod is:

    /usr/local/apache/conf/userdata/[std|ssl]/[1|2]/username/www.domain.tld/any.conf

    The directory structure does not exist, this is documented at the cpanel site.

    In the *.conf I placed the single line
    Include /home/username/php.conf

    then in /home/username/php.conf

    <IfModule mod_php5.c>
    php_admin_value sendmail_path "/usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i -f userschoice@domain.tld"
    </IfModule>

    This way my users can control where bounced returns, and I don't get it.

    Does anyone know how I can make this adjustment for the cgi-sys formmail?

    Kevin
