    Hello.

We're moving our web sites from Plesk to CPanel.

Some of our web sites are divided logically into two parts secure (https) and unsecure (http), and as such have different pages.

Plesk generates the apache conf files, so that the unsecure and secure locations are separate,

CPanel does not, at least not by default. Once, we have installed a SSL certificate the https points to the same http location.

What is the recommended way to separate these two parts, http and https, in CPanel?

    Thank you,
    Alex.

    Go on, have a guess
If you want to do that you'll have to edit httpd.conf after adding the SSL site and modify the port 443 VirtualHost container for the domain and change the DocumentRoot to whatever you want it to be.
