Is there any particular reason for CPanel/whm to avoid the use of the server alias *.domain.tld?
Because I tryed to use the subdomains, and they are powerfull but has some limitatios, like the use of common images across the site. The subdomain assumes the subdomain name folder as new document root (public_html/subdomain/), so you can'not access the files at the main account folder (public_htm/).
This is my case, I have a support and a billing subdomains, but have to edit the httpd.conf as server alias, in order to use the same document root.
If there no particular reason, does anyone knows if there will be some time a solution directly from the whm?
