The Past two weeks I had two server crashes, again today.

The server was running for more then 6 months at first without a problem.
    I found this in /var/log/messages

    Jan 2 01:00:30 romeo kernel: audit(1136160030.434:0): avc: denied { append } for pid=8276 comm=mysqld path=/var/lib/mysql/romeo.solidsolutions.be.err dev=md4 ino=1876822 scontext=user_u:system_r:mysqld_t tcontext=root:eek:bject_r:var_lib_t tclass=file
    Jan 2 01:00:30 romeo kernel: audit(1136160030.525:0): avc: denied { read } for pid=8280 comm=mysqld name=mysql dev=md4 ino=1876801 scontext=user_u:system_r:mysqld_t tcontext=root:eek:bject_r:var_lib_t tclass=dir
    Jan 2 01:00:30 romeo kernel: audit(1136160030.525:0): avc: denied { getattr } for pid=8280 comm=mysqld path=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock dev=md4 ino=1876810 scontext=user_u:system_r:mysqld_t tcontext=user_u:eek:bject_r:var_lib_t tclass=sock_file

after this, server is unreachable via tcp communication and has to be rebooted.

    Thanks

Have you run /scripts/updatemysqlquota? If so, then one of the users has probably gone over quota and that will prevent MySQL from running - so you need to address the quota issue for that account. If it's not that, is /var full?

I just have run /scripts/updatmsqlquota. Ill wait till tonight if I have still the same error logging. /var is far from full (3% used)

I wasn't recommending you run that script, it was a suggestion of the problem that might be caused if you had run it. If you don't want the effects of the script you can reverse it by doing:

    chown -R mysql:mysql /var/lib/mysql

I have still each night the same error logging :

    Jan 9 01:00:31 romeo kernel: audit(1136764831.631:0): avc: denied { getattr } for pid=18146 comm=mysqld path=/var/lib/mysql/mysql/user.MYI dev=md4 ino=1876805 scontext=root:system_r:mysqld_t tcontext=root:eek:bject_r:var_lib_t tclass=file
    Jan 9 01:00:31 romeo kernel: audit(1136764831.631:0): avc: denied { write } for pid=18146 comm=mysqld name=user.MYI dev=md4 ino=1876805 scontext=root:system_r:mysqld_t tcontext=root:eek:bject_r:var_lib_t tclass=file
    Jan 9 01:00:31 romeo kernel: audit(1136764831.633:0): avc: denied { append } for pid=18146 comm=mysqld path=/var/lib/mysql/romeo.solidsolutions.be.err dev=md4 ino=1876822 scontext=root:system_r:mysqld_t tcontext=root:eek:bject_r:var_lib_t tclass=file
    Jan 9 01:00:31 romeo kernel: audit(1136764831.723:0): avc: denied { read } for pid=18150 comm=mysqld name=mysql dev=md4 ino=1876801 scontext=root:system_r:mysqld_t tcontext=root:eek:bject_r:var_lib_t tclass=dir
    Jan 9 01:00:40 romeo kernel: audit(1136764840.792:0): avc: denied { read } for pid=18201 comm=mysqld name=xcamsite_jocv2test dev=md4 ino=1893121 scontext=root:system_r:mysqld_t tcontext=user_u:eek:bject_r:var_lib_t tclass=dir

Most of the times the server will continue to werk, sometimes, the server will stop respondig on the tcp/ip layer so it must be rebooted on location to get it running again.

This is serious system problem and it is hard to say without taking a look into your server. MySQL is one, but not the main cause of server crash.
