Just a few minutes ago I was adding a subdomain to one of the domains on a dual xeon with SCSI. When it started adding it showed "bind reloading via rndc" like it always does ... but it hung and the server had to be rebooted.

This is only the first time this has happened to me, but obviously there has to be a reason for it happening. Anyone else have this happen? This was something I did in cpanel, so any of my clients could duplicate this error and I really don't feel like having to reboot every time someone adds a subdomain (or maybe even an addon or parked if it affects them too).

    maybe bind maybe not

I noticed after the server came back: even though it froze at "bind reloading on alpha" (which is the first server of 2 to reload and the server that the problem occured on), it successfully created the subdomain ... so it may be something more to it...
