    Hello,

    I have 3 servers all with the same issue, and it started within the past 30 days on the 3 servers

    -the servers all have cPanel/WHM

    -the hostname *server.domain.com* does not resolve an any of the 3 servers
    (domain.com does not work, nor www.domain.com)

    -the NS are based on domain.com, yet all domains resolve using these NS's
    (ns1/2.domain.com = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/xxx)

    Anyone having this issue?

    I asked the datacenter for help
    I asked my registrar for help
    My server admin is baffled

    Any ideas or solutions?

    Thanks!

    Please make sure that the domain entry is added on /etc/localdomains. If it is not added then you can add the entry and have a try.

    Can forward the domain name here so that people can check the DNS report of it? Since the domain itself isn't resolving, the sub-domains won't work either.

    You can also check the DNS report of the domain at intoDNS: checks DNS and mail servers health

    Thanks for the replies!!

    hostsite53.com = the non-working domain
    server.hostsite53.com
    ns1/2.hostsite53.com = the active NS

    example:
    westburysales.net is working on the same server
    using these NS: ns1/2.hostsite53.com

    Your domain "hostsite53.com" is kept on HOLD by your domain registrar. See below:

    Domain status: clientHold

    You have to contact your domain registrar to sort out the issue. The registrar is:
    Registration Service Provider:
    Hover, help@hover.com
    416.538.5498
    Hover Help

    Once the domain is made active by the registrar, it will be back online.
