    Go on, have a guess
It could well be file system corruption. You could try rebooting with an FSCK check and see if that helps.

Hello Chirpy, I have done shutdown -rF and after server back i try to run the script that hang the server.
The fixeverything hangs in Repairing Mailbox Permissions...., so I just run this part of the script /scripts/mailperm --skiplocaldomains and server back OK...
So I try to run /scripts/fixeverything again... and the same... serer hang again... Apache is responding an SSH login too but never can access to ssh command line or WHM trough http...

    Any idea ?
    Thanks in advance !

What kernel are you running? If it's 2.6.5, upgrade to 2.6.10. Before rebooting to the 2.6.10 kernel, run "rm -fr /dev/rtc". If it's already a 2.6.10 kernel, I have no clue - good luck!

    -- edit:
I figure I should explain myself and why I suggested the above.
    1. cpanel's fixquota script and the 2.6.5 (default kernel for fc2) kernel have a confirmed bug, which locks up the machine. The upgrade to 2.6.10, corrects the issue. The fixeverything script runs the fixquotas script.
    2. the 2.6.10 kernel that you will inevitably upgrade to, may lock up during boot - another bug - rm -fr'ing /dev/rtc fixes it, but you have to do this before rebooting to the 2.6.10 kernel.

You need to look into the log file /var/log/messages for clues why your server hangs.
