server is down - filesystem check problem - read only?

Hello

It seems that i have a problem with my filesystem on my Centos (cpanel) server and only http service is working nothing else like cpanel or sql

When i try to connect using ssh i got this:

Cannot open main log file "/var/log/exim_mainlog": Read-only file system: euid=47 egid=12

Any ideas how can i fix it and why this happend?

Hello Astrapi,

Your server is in Read-only which might be due to HDD problems. To fix the issue you need to reboot the server (Linux will automatically try to run Filesystem check on your server) if it fails, you have to manually run FSCK on your server. If you don't have any idea about it I would suggest you to contact your hosting provider or datacenter.
