These days the response from our server is very slow. When I ping the ip of our server, the approximate round trip times is 963ms. What could be the potential problem?

you are asking that as a cpanel admin or webmaster? Isn't the question a little dumb without anything supporting the reason behind it?

If you can't gif us more informations we cant answer. And we aren't a visonary...

If it ins't on your ISP Contact your hoster and ask him.

dude, when this happens you need to send a traceroute to and from your server to your host/NOC if you can't figure it out....

If you are getting problems with traceroutes or high ping then your DC is responsable. Phone them up, submit ticket with screenshots and see what they say.

agreed .. last time I checked cpanel doesn't have anything to do with "ping"
