server load id getting high

    i searched first in forums for my problem but it seems that this problem is only happened for me

    its about 2 week that server load is getting above 20

    my server is redhat ent 3 and CPUs 4x Xeon 2.4

    i think the problem is mysql

    i check the CPU/Memory/MySQL Usage on the WHM

    a red line is shows this :

    mysql 30.99 184.97 0.0
    Top Process %CPU 79.0 /usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir/ --datadir/var/lib/mysql --usermysql --pid-file/var/lib/mysql/ --skip-locking

    what must i do ?

    Not necessarily. You need to make sure that your Php, cgi and other scripts/programs are secure and up-to-date. You need to find out who is exhausting resources on your server. There are many things you can do to protect your server; Search this forum or hire a sys admin to do that for you.
