Does anyone know of a script that will monitor load processing and kill any process that is consuming a large amount of resources?
This seems like a feature that should already be available considering chkservd will restart it anyways.
My situation is that I have many clients with mailing lists and at certain times they all seem to access exim and exim runs away. Usually the server comes back and a simple exim kill and restart will bring the load back down under 1, however if I am not there to manually kill the exim processes the server will hang.
