server load

    my server load started popping up recently, when i click on "CPU/Memory/MySQL Usage"
    on my WHM i find that there is a web site that eating all the resources. is there is a way to know why they are making server load high ?

    When that happens to my servers. I normally look at the Apache Status too just to see if there is alot of connections to that site. If there is, and its a PHP-Nuke site or any other CMS with a SQL backend I tend to try and talk to the owner. If its an attack, best thing to do would be to suspend the user until the attacks stop. Only thing is Apache Status only shows HTTP connections. So other than that I couldn't really help you.

    the problem is i simply dont know if its an attack or too much connection, can you please tell me where is the log file to look at ?
