We have a cpanel server that we want to basically update. New hardware and new OS. Can someone point me to the migration process? After setting up the new server how would I transfer all the data from the old server to the new? Essentially I would have to end up with the same cpanel server just on a different OS and hardware.

It's currently running on RH7.3 and I want to use centos 4 instead.

    Thanks for any information.

    Hey,

Make sure you are running the same backend software, like PHP and MySQL on the new server as on the old server. Once you have the accounts transfered and running you can upgrade those services on the new server.

You can check out this link I made,
