    Hi Team,

I would like to know about the cpanel backup for entire server from cpanel.
From my server i am getting mail saying that backup is started and finished. But it not in order.
I would like to change my monthly backup settings(timing) for cpanel backup.
Please let me know where i can change these things from whm and backend(ssh).

    Hi,

You can configure the backup from your WHM. In the WHM there is an option Configure Backup in Backup section.

WHM >> Backup >> Configure Backup

    Thanks for the reply.
But where i can change the monthly backup timing?. because for my server monthly backup is happening on different days for different server. But i am not able view the setting for the same. is there any backend files where we can modify these things.

Monthly backups are generated for an account when the timestamp on an existing monthly backup is over 1 month old.

To force all the timestamps to be for today (and thus backups generated 1 month from today and every month on this day), run the following command:

    /scripts/cpbackup --force

This will regenerate all backups and thus the timestamps on the backup file will be set to today.
