Server replied: 550 Verification failed for <[email protected]>

through WHM the account was modified.
to be more precise the domain was modified.
every service was restarted.
emails changed accordingly form [email protected] to [email protected]
the website works properly with new domain.
however i cant send emails form new email address [email protected]

it gives an error like
ERROR
Message not sent.
Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable
Server replied: 550 Verification failed for <[email protected]>
The mail server could not deliver mail to [email protected]. The account or domain may not exist, they may be blacklisted, or missing the proper dns entries.
Sender verify failed

I think i once encountered something similar and ended up deleting and recreating the email addresses.

that seems like the obvious solution but i search for a more complex one

i've noticed that squirrel client makes the issue not horde client

Hello

Is the previous domain name added to the account or the same server, or is it hosted on a remote mail server? Make sure the domain name does not exist in /etc/localdomains if it's email is not handled by the local server.
