Hi, for some reason my site is connecting to both: http and https versions of website when visiting. This is killing my website speed. See attached images about GTmetrix Waterfall chart about this issue. First image is the double connection issue, second image about details from http version and third image about https details. I am not sure how to fix this. And this happens when connecting with http:// to my site not when connecting with https://. I red something about that xmlrpc.php file being unnecessary nowadays but I don't know if removing that is the solution.

Based on the fact visits to http:// are receiving a 301I can confidently tell you that the "double" visits are not double at all they're redirections from http -> https. Any time someone visits http://yoursite.tld it's then redirected by Wordpress to https://yoursite.tld - this is evidenced in the second screenshot with the x-redirect-by header

This really isn't something that is related to the cPanel software itself it's more a developer/system administrator issue as the amount of time it's taking to redirect from http -> https is abnormal it should not take 9 seconds to complete this.
