I recently transferred servers, and am now having problems with one mail account. When I coped over the accounts, it looks like WHM created a local DNS record for FOO.com on my server HOST1. I host FOO.com website, but their mail is handled via outlook. The main DNS server for FOO.com is at dns1.pointhq.com. This correctly points web traffic to HOST1, and their email to outlook.
I ended the DNS record on HOST1 to point to dns1.pointhq.com as SOA, and added ns1.pointhq.com. I did not add any other records. When other accounts on HOST1 try to email FOO.com, all mail bounces, indicating there are no users. I can see these failed deliveries when I log into FOO.com's cpanel.
How do I resolve this?
