My company's security team is balking at the use of a VSP, because there is a perception that we need separate Web and DB servers, in different segments.

Can anyone explain how cPanels creates logical separation or security between the different elements of the VPS?

    Hello :)

It's true that if someone has access to the VPS hardware node, they could obtain access to the individual VPS account that it's hosted on. A dedicated server is sometimes a better option compared to renting a VPS from a VPS hosting provider if you have sensitive data.

    Thank you.
