    Ok i'll start with a few facts on the server

    100mbit connection
    Cent OS 4
    Keep Alive = OFF

    Ping statistics for 64.69.45.86:
    Packets: Sent = 6716, Received = 6716, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
    Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 144ms, Maximum = 364ms, Average = 160ms

    Issue:
    I have a file upload script, when uploading large files lets say 20MB, it often times out and goes to page cannot be displayed...

    I host a music website, which makes use of the EMBED tag to play 500K WMA files... 40% of the time, even on a broadband connection it will only download half of the file causing it to stop half way through playing

    I have no idea why !! I would of thought packet loss, but as you can see from the above stats... their is no issue

    Any idea's, or things to research into.

    Thanks guys

    Go on, have a guess
    If you run ifconfig do you see any errors on the main ethernet device (usually eth0)? If so, it could be a NIC/wiring issue.
