I have a dedicated server and have root access. The latest cPanel and WHM is installed. Using EasyApache 3.

I am trying to remove the ServerAlias www.* from several of my subdomains. The only VirtualHost that I want to have a www.* is my main domain. Following the advice in this post: https://forums.cpanel.net/threads/remove-serveralias-from-virtualhost.170106/, I have removed the ServerAlias line from all of the subdomain files in /var/cpanel/userdata/username/ and ran /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf (as root). However, when I check /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf, all of the www.* ServerAlias lines are still there. I've even renamed httpd.conf to confirm it is being recreated, and confirmed with grep that www is not listed in any *.cache files in /var/cpanel/userdata/username/.

I've checked all of the template and script files that I can track down that are called or used by /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf, but cannot find where www would be added.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
