Servers not relaying emails

    HI, I have several servers, but I seem not to be able to email from one email account on one server to another email account on another. This only happens from one particular server to another particular server.

    Does anyone know where I should start to check

    A few ideas:

    1. Make sure that you have rDNS PTR records for the main IP address of the servers, you can check with:

    dig -x 11.22.33.44

    And make sure you get back a PTR record.

    2. If they're both cPanel servers, run:

    /scripts/mailperm

    3. Check your exim logs as you send email:

    tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog

    and look out for errors.

    Cool thanks for that found the problem, The domain name was on 2 servers
