    Hummn.. this is a new one. I used to be able to (as root) type service httpd restart or same for other services.. and it would work, now I'm getting this error message..

    Warning: DocumentRoot [/dev/null] does not exist

    I've done nothing to the box since last I last used this command.. anyone else? Ideas?

    TIA!

    Hello Shortz,

    That message is a warning rather than an error and would not impact Apache restarting. It happens due to a virtual host entry in httpd.conf for /dev/null created when you've used the WHM > Setup/Edit Domain Forwarding area. The entry will look similar to the following:

    Code:
    # DO NOT EDIT. AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED. IF YOU NEED TO MAKE A CHANGE PLEASE USE THE INCLUDE FILES.
    # WHM DOMAIN FORWARDING VHOST
    <VirtualHost IP.xx.xx.xx>
        ServerName IP.xx.xx.xx
        ServerAdmin root@localhost
        DocumentRoot /dev/null
        ScriptAliasMatch .* /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/domainredirect.cgi
    </VirtualHost>
    Thanks!
