    Hi guys.
I`m getting this error from my server with Centos 6.9 x86_64

    When I try :
    Code:
yum clean all; yum reinstall cpanel-dovecot-solr
    I get this error:
    Code:
    http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el6/en/x86_64/dag/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 6 - "Couldn't resolve host 'apt.sw.be'"
    Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: dag. Please verify its path and try again
    Next I do:
    yum --disablerepo='dag' update

To remove this repo. Also checked my nameserver
    search ovh.net

    nameserver 8.8.8.8

    nameserver 8.8.4.4

    nameserver 127.0.0.1

    nameserver 213.186.33.99

Well, I cannot find more information about this problem in this forum or in google.
    thank you.

    Hello,

This looks like a bad mirror, as I'm unable to resolve that host from a test system:

    Code:
    # host apt.sw.be
    Host apt.sw.be not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
You can check to see which of your YUM repo files use that hostname with a command such as:

    Code:
    grep apt.sw.be /etc/yum.repos.d/*
If it's a DAG repo you want to disable, try moving it to another directory:

    Code:
    mkdir /root/old-yum-repos
    mv /etc/yum.repos.d/dag.repo /root/old-yum-repos/
    Thank you.

Thank you very much, with your support i can update this service.
right now the problem stills reporting from server, but right now i get the same:
The service “cpanel-dovecot-solr” appears to be down.
    Code:
Notification The service “cpanel-dovecot-solr” appears to be down.
Service Check Method The system failed to connect to this service’s TCP/IP port.
Reason Service check failed to complete
Timeout while trying to connect to service: Died
And a few minutes after this another :
The service “cpanel-dovecot-solr” is now operational.
    Inside get more information:
    Code:
Notification The service “cpanel-dovecot-solr” is now operational.
Reason Service check failed to complete
Timeout while trying to connect to service: Died
Also, i have alot of attacks from 10 days ago about smpt authentication
"blocked distributed smtpauth attack on account"
Someone is scanning all accounts from differents domains inside my server and changing her ip in each attack from different region.
Could be in relation this with dovecot service?

    Hello,

To update, it looks like this particular issue related to the use of the GrSec kernel on the affected system. We're currently tracking reports of connection failures for the cpanel-dovecot-solr service via internal case CPANEL-12882. I'll update this thread with more information on the status of this case as it becomes available. Additionally, please see the following thread to see discussion of additional issues with the cpanel-dovecot-solr service:

    Error with cpanel_dovecot_solr_maintenance cron

    Thank you.
