Service Faiure : exim-465

I am having difficulty connecting/opening port 465

Daemon smtp ports are set to 25 : 465 : 587

Waiting for exim to restart...........finished.

exim (/usr/sbin/exim -bd -q60m) running as mailnull with PID 27870 (pidfile check method)

exim has failed, please contact the sysadmin.

Are any firewall rules enabled that could be limiting access to this port? Do you notice any specific errors in /var/log/exim_mainlog or /var/log/exim_paniclog when attempting to start Exim?
