Service Status show failed to exim, but it is working fine

Hi,

Service Status show failed to exim, but it is working fine.

If I do a #service chkservd restart, nothing. Now, if I do a #/usr/local/cpanel/install/chkservdsetup it return it:
Updating exim

And the Service Status begin to show UP to exim, but if I do a #service chkservd restart again, Service Status show red light again to me.

I am using:

WHM 11.2.0 cPanel 11.11.0-R16984
CENTOS Enterprise 5 x86_64 - WHM X v3.1.0

Some sugestion?

This is happening for me too. I am not sure when this started, but it's been within the last week.

Email is working normally.

Just want to pipe up that I am having the same issue on 2 out of 4 servers.

Try restarting CPanel services itself:

service cpanel restart

Did that. Still showed red, even though Exim log showed exim puttering along as normal.

It only back to green after I do:

#/usr/local/cpanel/install/chkservdsetup

But if I restartart chkservd, It back to red again.

I did a graceful reboot in WHM and all is back to normal now.
