    Hey all,
Recently got a new server with Cpanel and WHM... i decieded that i would allow it to update to the latest "release" as opposed to stable edition. When the server rebooted the "service Status" shows that the following services have failed:
    cpsrvd
    apache (1.3.31 (Unix))
    ftpd
    exim-26

Everything seems to be working tho (ie I can ftp into the server and can load websites) I have since downgraded back to the stable edition and it seems to be working OK... but... how on earth do I fix this... Cheers All

From the shell, as a privledge (root) user try this:

    service chkservd restart
    or /etc/init.d/chkservd restart

:) That should jump start it

Cpanel updates the Server Status about every 15 minutes (only Load and Memory usage is in real-time).
