Services failing help

I am getting a few service failure notices every day. Mainly, ftpd and imap, but on occasion exim, eximstasts and mysql.

Stuff like : ftpd failed @ Wed Nov 29 13:32:16 2006. A restart was attempted automagicly.

What causes these and what can i do to resolve the issues? They just stared happening mlast week.

I am running:
WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.2-S120
CentOS 4.4 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

Have you attempted to upgrade to cPanel 10.9 to see if that resolved the issue?

Randomly failing services could be a sign that your server is getting near capacity. In my case, when I reach 80% capacity I might have named or pop3 fail and restart on their own.

If it's not the load, then I'd try the above advice and try to upgrade your installation.
