Set redirect and return to orignal path.

Hello,

I have set redirect for a domain. But needs to be not to show the redirected link in browser. i e

I have set redirect - http://mydomain.com/xyz/ >> http://yourdomain.com/abc/

When I put http://mydomain.com/xyz/ in browser; it redirects and shows http://yourdomain.com/abc/ in browser.

Only thing is that I would like to see http://mydomain.com/xyz/ in browser though it is redirected.

Can anyone let me know what changes I will have to make in .htaccess file.

In general terms, you'd need to use a rewrite rule not a redirect rule.

Have a good read through the Apache mod_alias and mod_rewrite docs and then apply the necessary changes in a .htaccess file.
