Is it possible to give a directory a maximum size in MB? Or would I have to do this via an FTP Program.

If I have to do it via FTP does anyone know how to do it with CuteFTP Pro?

Unfortunately at this time the quota system under linux is a farce, in my opinion. It doesn't even report disk usage correctly most of the time. Sometime go do a 'du -hs /home/user' and compare the number you get to what cpanel/whm reports to you :)
