Hi,

For vBulletin, I have to up 2 of my php values.

I've tried making both a php.ini file and a .htaccess file with the following content

php_value suhosin.post.max_vars 500
php_value suhosin.request.max_vars 500

It doesn't work for either as can be seen here:

Suggestions?

If you have root access to the server, you can add the values you need into the php.ini file (the values below are what vbulletin recommends):

suhosin.post.max_vars = 2048
suhosin.request.max_vars = 2048

If you don't have root access, and you wish to use an .htaccess file to change variables, you need to have whomever the server admin is, add this to the php.ini:

suhosin.perdir = "p"

This will allow the use of .htaccess to change variable on a per directory basis.

I need to add the same to my php.ini ... however I see nowhere in the php.ini to edit and I am not sure where I add it.
Can either of you point the way a little clearer please.
Thank you.
