setting up 2 dns servers

    i have a vps and i want to make it a dns server. how hard is that to do and to link all my cpanel servers to the 2 dns servers?

    Hello :)

    Assuming you are going to use two separate servers for DNS purposes only, this is a fairly simply configuration. You would first install cPanel DNS-Only on the two DNS servers. Information about cPanel DNS-Only can be found at:

    Quick question. After setup, how do I change old NS2 IP to new IPs for all accounts? And how do I make new accounts created with new IP?

    The name server IP address assignments are handled at the domain registrar of the domain name associated with the name server. After updating the IP at the registrar, you can update the "A" record on the cPanel server via:

    "WHM >> DNS Functions >> Edit DNS Zone"
