I am new to cpanel and I have found it very difficult to find help on using cpanel.

I have an account with I don\'t know if you are aware of them.

My question is how do I, step by step, set up a members website that they can access using unique usernames and passwords.

I have been told that I need to set up a directory and add the user name and password.

I set up a new directory called members.html and went to web protect to add the user name and password. What happens now. How do I access the user name and password.

I guess this all sounds pretty basic to you, but I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.

The comments about the security of cpanel are a little worrying. If it is easy to hack into maybe I should try and find another system. I am probably being overly cautious.
