I am really confused now and how do i set my server up with proper nameservers..
my domain is pwnagehosting.net but the manual only shows IP and i can only get that working!

So really how do i get it up and running!
so my home page ect is www.pwnagehosting.com
    and my nameservers are ns1/ns2.pwnagehosting.com

Its pretty straightforward. All you need to do is assign IP addresses to to your nameservers. This can be done in the basic whm config as dns entried or you can use the nameserver feature in whm.

i have a dedicated server and i don't know how to setup my nameservers.. (first time newber)

can someone please explain how this all works, do i have to buy a nameserver? or do i just do something like this,

    Example:
domain name for my site example.net
    ns1.example.net
    ns2.example.net

    and then assign them ip's?

    then would everything work?

    Hi there,

    startup WHM->Server Configuration->BasiccPanel/WHM Setup
    scroll down to Primary Nameserver.
add "ns1.pwnagehosting.com' to the Primary and 'ns2.pwnagehosting.com' to the secondary nameserver. Save it.

go to Networking Setup -> Nameserver IPs and add your 2 nameservers if they are not in the list. Save, that's it.

later on you can add 2 DNS-Zones for your 2 nameservers

    btw.
Did you changed the nameserver-ip's at your domain-registrar ?
