Setting up OSCommerce with CPanel? [moved]

    I am used to setting up OSCommerce thru phpMyAdmin. How do I go about setting up my datase for OSCommerce using CPanel?

    If you're installing OSCommerce through cPanel, it should create the necessary database structure for you.

    do I use the MySQL database or what to create the database in CPanel? Like I said I am used to phpMyAdmin.

    Sorry, I misunderstood your question. I thought you meant that you were planning on installing OSCommerce through cPanel itself (as this may be an option available to you).

    You'd need to create the database through the features provided by cPanel as you can't do so through phpMyAdmin.

    You might want to contact your host if you can't figure out how to do it, but it's pretty straightforward.
