I administer a server running cPanel that hosts over 200 Mailman email lists.
We would like to provide a per-list search as well as a global search of list archives. There are patches that can be added to Mailman that will integrate it with HTDig. However, this functionality tends to break whenever cpanel upgrades Mailman.
Has anyone come up with a solution to this? I suppose one way would be to turn off cPanel's mailman and install my own. I'd really rather not do that though.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hello :)

It's likely easier to install your own custom version of Mailman with the included patches. The other option is to develop a script that installs the patches and add it to a hook that runs automatically after every cPanel update.

    Thank you.
