How do you install SSL Certificates as a regular virtual host user? For example, someone who is accessing:

    http://111.111.111.111:2082/

I tried looking through the control panel, but couldn't find anything related to SSL. Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Gary

You need root shell access or access to WHM to install an SSL cert.

So their is no way for a virtualhost user to install SSL certificates? It absolutely must be done by the root user?

Unless you have access to apaches config file, the ssl directory and the right to restart apache.
