so i just got a sever and i'm try to setup ark severs on it but i have never used WHM am i even able to host steam game severs or did i throw away 200$

There's no native support for configuring a game servers through cPanel or Web Host Manager. You are welcome to configure a game server via the command line or through a third-party application, but keep in mind it's unrelated to the cPanel software.
