Setup FTP Accounts

Hey all:

When I set up an FTP account for someone and also set up a directory for them to use the directory is in the public_html directory. I just found out, but that directory is then available to the entire web regardless of passwords, usernames, etc. :eek: Am I overlooking something here? I know how to fix it, but never knew I had to. Any comments?

I have the same question...any takers?? Need some help? Thanks. Could this have to do with frontpage extensions?
