    Hello :)

I set FTP server as maximum FTP connections of 300, maximum connection per domain 2.

I allowed clients SFTP on 9.x.x.x Port, and disabled 21 Port.

I am new in cPanel, and I do not know how cPanel consider those settings, does settings for FTP server follow SFTP connections, or I need in this case to set above stated values somewhere else.

Please for any help, and thank you for time and answer in advance! :))

    Hello :)

SFTP is essentially FTP over SSH, so it's a completely different protocol than standard FTP. SFTP configuration changes would have to be made manually to the SSH configuration file (/etc/ssh/sshd_config). One point to remember is that when you create virtual FTP accounts via cPanel, users can not access SFTP with those authentication details. Only the cPanel account username/password is able to authenticate with SFTP.

    Thank you.
