SFTP with a user

cPanel Access Level
Root Administrator
It seems that i can not login with SFTP on my website via the cPanel userx, i can only use root to login to SFTP...

My normal cPanel account (userx) is only able to login via FTP and FTPS, any ideas how to enable SFTP for my userx?

It has normal Shell access at WHM....

Hello :)

Do you receive any specific output when attempting to login as the cPanel username via SFTP, or does it simply tell you that authentication is denied? Do you notice any messages in /var/log/secure when the login attempt fails?
