Is it possible to allow customers to FTP via SFTP without also having to give them shell access?

    Thank you,
    Michelle

    Hello,

cPanel account user can access SFTP using port 22 no need to give him shell access.

    Thanks

    Hello :)

Yes, an account with a disabled shell can still use SFTP. It's important to not confuse SFTP with FTPS. FTPS allows the use of virtual FTP accounts ("ftpuser1@domain.com"). SFTP is FTP over SSH and will only work with the account username.

    Thank you.
