Shadow file and nobodyfiles?

    Dear Friends,

    I found the files "shadow" and "nobodyfiles" in the home directory, can anyone explain to me what this files are for?

    shadow file stores user password in encrypted format. It also contains some additional properties like username, last password changed, expiration date of password, etc.

    nobody is a file ownership in linux. Files with nobody ownership can only be accessed by root.
