    Hi,

I have enabled shell access for a user under "Account Functions" -> "Manage Shell Access" in WHM.

When the user logs into Cpanel and clicks on the SSH/Telnet link it just says it's not enabled by default.

Why isn't it working if shell access is enabled for the account?

This is using the X theme and WHM 8.5.1 cPanel 8.5.3-R2.

    Thanks.

Did he actually try to use it. I think it gives that message by default. I know I have had that message when I've used it before but was still able to use it.

Just adding on from the original problem.. in Cpanel using the X theme and clicking on the Telnet/SSH link.. I just get a grey box.. no actualy login prompt or anything.

Shouldn't it atleast prompt me for a username?
