I'm renting a server at ev1 and I've got WHM installed on it. As far as I understand, there is some kind of firewall (iptables), that is not allowing my shoutcast to be reached from the outter world. So, I use the iptables command to open access to port 8000 and it works. But after some time it closes automatically again. So I have to restart iptables for it to work again.

Is there something having to do with WHM? Or can anyone suggest a good exit out of this problem?
