I have a client that has a dedicated server assigned the IP block 66.197.233.53-66.197.233.57. The client's site is the only site on the server, so when you check IP address usage, the only IP that has any accounts is 66.197.233.53 and the only accounts listed for that IP are servername.hisdomain.com and hisdomain.com.

Is it possible to configure WHM/cPanel to show the site rather than the Apache splash page when someone types in the IP address, and, if so, how?

    Thanks.

The IP has 2 domains on it
As a result the dns does not "know" where to send the visitor.

You could try editing httpdd.conf (be careful!) or assign a different IP to "hisdomain.com", then when someone goes to that IP address they'll go straight to his site.

Can the .conf file be edited to put the servername.hisdomain.com on a different address rather than putting hisdomain.com on a different address?
