silly problem

    I have 100 images on a directory i also have an index file either .php or .htm or .html ...., but IE shows files instead of index file... !:)
    any idea ?

    Did the &DirectoryIndex& line in your httpd.conf get vanquished or wha?

    Make sure that is still there, up in the root configuration area for the entire server. It should have all the possibilities for indexing defaults after it, like index.htm index.php, home.htm, index.cgi

    ETC, ETC.

    put them back in and restart apache and you should be good.

    that problem is just in one directory :)
    i am thinking about maybe number of files is kind of confusing or...

    I've add .htaccess to dir and fixed it, but it is still kind of question for me, why that happend, is it is possible that it happens for another dir, that would be a big security risk...
