Does anyone know of a simple website-editor add-on package for cpanel?
I am trying to offer my customers a simple point and click way to set up a simple website without using a real html editor.
Anything php or perl based would be great.

    Check out my site:
    http://freshcontent.ws
It's super easy to use and version 1 is free. You will need to install the ioncube decoder. The site isn't live yet, but the software can be downloaded and installed. It's working on that site with the ioncube decoder and safe mode on, register globals off and phpsuexec running, so yes it runs on the toughest cpanel setup.

If you like SEWS, PM me and I'll move my butt and publish the download link and installation instructions.

Forgot to say that it accepts templates - content is entirely seperated from web design. Templates are very easy to build, hopefully some web designers will build and sell some, thru the forum.

Why this dman admin interface looks like total ripoff of Modernbill's ?
Layout and even colours look the same, even if it's modified a little bit from the original.
    *sigh*

    Not finished yet

    "sigh". Whats all this about?

I can change the skin in a few days, its nothing compared to the coding that's been involved. How about some feedback on its functions. and what is this - you're all modernbill loyalists or something? Well Dman will be completely free and currently its in a different market to modernbill anyway. We will release a billing solution soon and it will be catered to hosting businesses - with WHM automation and integration and it will be cheaper than anything else around.

    LOL loyalist..
It's just funny that their skin/design is ripped off so often.
I would comment on functionality etc, if the design would not knock me off at first. What can you think about ethics of author of the software if he steals copyrighted material from other product?

About the functionality, admin looks impressive, but I was unable to see it's real output, so you will get very limited feedback.
what I see now is set of texboxes, comboboxes and textareas. I'm unable to see how it really works - but admin looks pretty solid.

We'd not given it much thought

To be honest we'd not given the layout much consideration - we can change it - and we will before release. We don't want people looking on us in a bad light. Personally I'm just looking to getting our software released as soon as possible, its been such a long time in development I just want to get it finished. But we can change the layout.

Do you have any screenshots of it, and is possible for multiple clients to use it by logging into the same domain/account?

sorry, no screenshots. Will be one day, the site isn't ready for the public yet - it's very rough. The software works though, download and install it.

One issue so far - the data directory needs to be writeable, chmod 777 will do it.

Yes, it can be installed in one domain in multiple subdirectories. I take it you want to do this for multiple subdomains on a main domain. Yes, that will work. Just create the directories and untar the tarfile in each one.
