You might do better asking them over at simplescripts.

im having the same issue, from what reading i have done, it has something to do with how cpanel interpets php, where a person has to use .cpphp if the cpanel code comes before the php code or phpcp if the php code comes before. having the same issue with another cpanel addon i have for whmcs to bridge my billing for my clients into cpanel interface.

ive already asked both simplescripts and the programmer of the bridge script for assistance, but no replies yet.

My bridge script worked fine before this last cpanel upgrade, so i know it has something to do with cpanel changing something in its permissions. Cpanel support says I have to seek help from the 3rd party companies.

well i had this issue resolved, ended up contacting cpanel and they figured out the problem:

Here is what he explained he did:

logged in to the server via ssh as root and issued the command.

    /scripts/makecpphp

This can also be done in EasyApache on the last option in step #6
    of the "Exhaustive Options List".

    The exact text will read.

Save my profile with appropriate PHP 5 options set so that it is compatible with cpphp
This option will make the following changes to your profile prior to the build:

    Enables:
    CurlSSL
    FTP
    GD
    Gettext
    Iconv
    Imap
    Mbregex
    Mbstring
    Mysql
    Mysql of the system
    PGsql
    Sockets
    Zlib

    After compile cpphp
