Since the update, my theme (x3) has not worked and all I see is random text in blue.

I'm not a techie so wanted to ask here what I could do to fix this.

    Thanks.

Assuming you have root access to this server, you might try forcing an update to insure that all theme files have been set properly. You should also clear your browser cache and/or try another browser in order to properly troubleshoot this issue.

If there's a chance that you're using a custom style created with the Branding editor, try selecting an untouched Style in:

cPanel > Preferences > Change Style

... to see if that changes anything for you.

    Thanks for the quick response.

I went in through WHM and it looked fine so it has to be a cache issue.

    Hi,

I have a similar problem. After the last update the look has changed. When I go to Themes->Universal Theme Manager and click on preview, the preview is different to the theme which I can see is active and yet it tells me that it is active and only one to choose from.

EDIT: I have cleared the cache and tried other browsers but it is no difference.

The Universal Theme Manager is meant for managing cPanel themes. No new updates to that default (x3) cPanel theme have been made. The changes to the WHM UI are not changeable in that you can go back to a previous version of the WHM UI.

Shouldn't I be able to change the WHM theme under Themes->Universal Theme Manager->Manage WHM Themes?

There should be no other WHM themes listed here. On the Change WHM Theme you should also see this message:

There are no other WHM themes provided by cPanel at this time.

    HTH! :)

I saw a 'Canarian' something theme there before I deleted it while trying to go back to the old one. Is that normal?

Just to clear this up: with the latest update the default WHM GUI has been changed ?

In the past it was possible to select alternate WHM styles, IIRC.

Yes. The new default WHM style has changed in 11.34 and is the only option provided by cPanel.

There were two alternate WHM themes we used to distribute. One was named canarias, I cannot recall the name of the other. Regardless both were ancient and dated from the cPanel 10 (or older) era. Both had significant problems with cPanel 11. Both were no longer supported, nor recommended, by their author (they were 3rd party themes we had permission to distribute). We pulled them from distribution a year or two ago.

WHM Theming is extremely limited in 11.25.0+.

The Preview feature in Universal Theme manager displays a static screen shot of the theme being previewed. It is not a reflection of reality. One of my systems has some "interesting" enhancements to X3. The preview of X3 in Universal Theme manager, however, is a static screen shot distributed with cPanel & WHM, thus does not show my changes. This is true of all theme previews, they are static screen shots.
